Setting Up Second Email Boxes :: Outlook Express
Attention!! Carefully read and follow this guide in its entirety. Failure to do so may result in many hours of frustration in connecting.
Throughout this document:
- Italic type like this states an action you need to follow directly on the computer.
- Bold face type like this represents actual type you will find on your screen.
- "Click" unless otherwise specified means positioning the mouse over the specified place and pressing the left mouse button once.
- "Double-click" always means positioning the mouse over the specified place and pressing the left mouse button twice quickly without moving the mouse
in between clicks.
To Choose Another E-Mail Account…
Please give NetNet a call at (920) 617-6700. We will be happy to check the availability of a particular username and enter your new account immediately. Usernames
must be set up on NetNet’s side before you can set up your e-mail client.
To Set Up Outlook Express…
- Open Outlook Express.
- Click on File in the upper-left corner.
- Move your mouse over Identities and click Add New Identity.
A window will appear asking for the real name of the person with the e-mail. Type the name and click OK.

You will be asked if you want to switch identities. Click Yes.

If you are prompted to either create a new Internet mail account or use an existing Internet mail account, click Create a new Internet mail account, then click Next.

You will be asked for the display name. Type the name and click Next.

You will then be asked to enter an e-mail address. Type the address and click Next.

You will not be asked to specify e-mail server names. Make sure POP3 is selected at the top. Type mail.netnet.net for both incoming and outgoing mail servers.

You will now be asked to enter the username and password for the account. Type in the username and password and click Next.

You will now be told that you are finished setting up the account. Click Finish.
