WE HATE SPAM TOO...
...So we're doing something about it!!
If you have an email account, chances are you get a lot of spam. Many NetNet customers have asked for a way to deal with this problem.
One step NetNet is taking to combat spam is the use
of a service called netINTERCEPTOR.
SpamAssasin is run by a group of volunteers and is
a database of known spammers, spam gangs, spam operations
or spam support services. We use this database to stop
incoming emails from these spam
producing sources. Entries in SpamAssassin are backed
up with evidence that shows the entry is under control
of a spam operation of spam service.
The addition of this service certainly won't stop all spam from reaching your email box but, we hope it will reduce much of it.
Using SpamAssassin may cause some wanted emails to
get blocked. This should rarely happen because most
of
the sites
listed in SpamAssasin are used solely for sending spam
however, if you or someone else is being blocked in
